(sisyphus)

When assiduity is spent in vain
on pointless work, do not complain.
The boulder up the hill most go
to what avail? No need to know.
When it inevitably tumbles down
I merely shrug, I do not frown.
I tense my muscles, find my grip
preparing for the upward trip.
The happy man, Camus once said,
finds joy where other man see dread.
